Delhi: News Corp has denied a recent report that it has struck a deal with Google to develop content and products related to artificial intelligence (AI).
Media reports had cited that Alphabet's Google has entered into an agreement to pay News Corp, the media conglomerate behind The Wall Street Journal, an annual sum ranging from $5 million to $6 million.
A recent report brought to light that though News Corp has other partnerships with Google, they do not have one for AI-related content at the moment.
Similar partnerships for AI content have been observed in the industry, such as those between OpenAI and various news publishers including the Financial Times and Axel Springer, known for its ownership of Politico.
