Delhi: Amidst this IPL season, Mumbai Indians have released a series of posters as an ode to their team. Conceptualised by creative agency Brave, the series showcases MI players as heroes with superpowers and is titled the ‘MI Superhero Verse’.

The 25-poster series is a homage to retro comic art and celebrates the Mumbai Indians squad in a Superhero Universe. In the series Rohit Sharma becomes ‘The Mumbai Mogul’, Hardik turns into ‘Power-Packed Pandya’, Bumrah gets crowned the ‘Toe Crusher’, Ishan Kishan emerges as the ‘Pocket Dynamo’ and Tim David, ‘The Dragon Tamer’ and so on.

Goral Ajmera, Founder of Brave, said, “We had a blast creating these with the Mumbai Indians team. From deciding the superpower for each player, to conceptualizing the scenario, to detailing it out with typical comic cover nuances, this seemed like less work and more play.”
